(1) There will be a service commission to recommend the appointment and promotion of teachers and staff of the institution (2) The Service Commission shall have the following chairman and members:-
(a) from among the persons who have at least master's degree in health sciences and have worked in the health sector for twenty years and have held managerial or academic responsibilities as a special category or professor - President
(b) Member of Public Service Commission – Member
(c) One member from among the teachers (3) The assembly shall nominate the chairman and members as per clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section (2).
(4) The term of office of the Chairman and nominated members of the Service Commission shall be four years.
(5) Other work, duties and rights of the Service Commission shall be as prescribed.
(6) The remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service of the Chairman of the Service Commission and the facilities of the members shall be as prescribed.
(7) The procedure for the meeting of the Service Commission shall be as prescribed.
